❧ 006 ❧ Audio

[As the recording starts, the only sound is heard belongs to Sandrath's footsteps and the man humming a tune. A few moments later, he stops walking but the song is still going.]

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful and since we've no place to go... Let it snow. Let it snow. Let it snow.

[There's laughter from him.]

Well, this certainly puts a damper on my plans. I guess I'll have to move my project inside before it continues to snow like this.

[A small scoff is heard.]

I guess this will be my apology to my neighbors for the noise.

[San can be found out and about the barracks or meandering through the snow to retrieve his project.]

[A light, giddy laugh--a sound not often heard from Aara's lips.]

We shall have to see.

[identity profile] angha-firebird.livejournal.com 2011-12-13 08:05 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you.

[She's clearly grinning, whether he can hear it in her tone or not. She may very well need luck.]

[identity profile] angha-firebird.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 09:24 am (UTC)(link)
[Startled silence. Aara doesn't even know how to respond to that.]

You... you would try?

[identity profile] angha-firebird.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 09:45 am (UTC)(link)
[Whatever answer Aara was expecting, the one he gave wasn't it. She stared. Scarcely breathed. Her mind could hardly believe her ears, and her heart started speeding at a fluttery pace. She felt pale at the prospect--and yet oddly flushed at the same time. A smile twitched to her lips. Aara was afraid she might laugh. She didn't however. She simply stared repeated his simple words over and over in her head.]

Then... if I ever feel I am in danger of falling I had better use any strength I have left to change forms once again.

[Her tone was whisper-soft, and filled with slight awe and still yet a little disbelief. The awe out-weighed the disbelief, however.]

I do not know what else to say, except thank you for even considering it.

[identity profile] angha-firebird.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 09:51 am (UTC)(link)
Yes...

[Not knowing what else to say, Aara remains slight and opts to close her journal. What Sandrath was saying was too much for her mind to wrap around just now, and she didn't know what to make of the hesitant feelings tumbling through her just then. If he left her a message, she would respond to it later. Yes. It would give her time to catch her bearings.]

*a bit of time has passed--nothing too long. Aara was too curious to see if he responded*

[identity profile] angha-firebird.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 10:02 am (UTC)(link)
Oh! No. Well, I do not believe so.

[A sigh.]

I never thought someone would try to catch an angha falling from the sky.

[identity profile] angha-firebird.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 10:14 am (UTC)(link)
[This time Aara lightly laughs with him.]

So I am beginning to realize more and more. It... is not a bad thing.

[identity profile] angha-firebird.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 10:18 am (UTC)(link)
Being different.

I do not think that is at all bad.

[identity profile] angha-firebird.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 10:24 am (UTC)(link)
[An airy chuckle.]

Do you mean human, or something else?

[identity profile] angha-firebird.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 10:36 am (UTC)(link)
[Another, deeper chuckle this time.]

I see. I will not ask and invade your private thoughts, though one day I hope to know you well enough I may guess your meaning.

[identity profile] angha-firebird.livejournal.com 2011-12-17 11:05 am (UTC)(link)
[A wide grin.]

I'll share my journey with you later, if you would like to hear. Until then!

Good bye, Sandrath.

Good luck with your project.
