❧ 002 ❧ Comment Log; Back-dated to the afternoon of the 21st
[It didn't take long for Sandrath to be wandering the halls of the Keep after scanning through the journals. Somehow, the lifeless pumpkins suddenly gained the ability to speak. They called out to him with various tones as he passed by, glancing at each carved structure. If it was true, one of these vegetables had his face on it or perhaps someone he knew.
At the end of the hallway, he found what he was looking for.
He stared down at the staked pumpkin with a scowl. It was laughing maniacally ever so often as it murmured secrets. Things that Sandrath would rather not have other people hear. He could have burned it or perhaps sliced it up with a weapon, but no, he decided to take the simplest of approaches...
He lifted the vegetable off its pike and his expression changed to a cruel grin as the pumpkin started to scream in agony. He did not flinch when it started to 'bleed' and continued to hold it until it fell quiet.]
So that's how I sound like if I screamed.
[He was silent for a moment, considering a thought.]
...If I die, will I go out like this?

Oh, it's just some guy with his pumpkin. Never mind. Kloe stops a few feet away and crosses her arms.]
Maybe.
no subject
Is that an assumption that you'll be the cause of my death?
no subject
no subject
So, do you randomly walk around and answer questions from total strangers?

[He chuckled before moving closer, circling the doctor.]
Shall we move on to introductions or remain anonymous?
no subject
Doctor Kloe Bishop.
no subject
Its nice to meet you in person. I'm Sandrath, if you remember talking to me over the books.
[Unable to help himself, he tilted his head and let his eyes switch to their black state for a moment before reverting to normal.]
no subject
[Aaand the eye thing. That eye thing? Is creepy as hell. Kloe takes an instinctive step away from him, contemplating whether or not she should attack or run if he attacked her or something.]
no subject
According to you.
[Sandrath noticed that she had taken a step away and his gaze focused on her face.]
I heard that you were the cause for quite a few deaths.
no subject
You heard right.
no subject
[As he spoke, he kept his distance and tried to give off the impression he was not going to harm her.]
Because I find it quite contridicting that a doctor would have something that could kill people.
no subject
[Kloe narrowed her eyes. Fucking people.]
I'm infected with a contagious virus. It was spread accidentally at a party over a month ago. Happy?
no subject
[He gave a small shrug with closed eyes before reopening them.]
Not fully.
[A small grin returned to his lips.]
no subject
Well of fucking course. Most of the hacks in this place would rather see me locked up than accept it was an accident and move on.
no subject
[He laughed for a moment before stopping himself. San was rather curious about the effects of her virus on other people.]
So, what happened to the victims who were infected?
no subject
[The gist, anyway.]
And then they came back to life pissed.
[Minus the few crazy people who still like her FOR SOME REASON.]
no subject
That is until his thoughts were broken by her second comment. This caused Sandrath to narrow his eyes.]
Did I just hear you right? Are you saying that people just come back from being dead instantly? Like nothing had happened?
[He took a step closer with an inquiring and demanding expression.
This wasn't right. There was a whole process that humans had to go through back in his world. It was either death or become a demon or an angel.]

[It probably didn't help that his first entry was a call for help instead of a 'where am I'.]
This is really bizarre.
[He couldn't help but chuckle, slightly crazed but he was in control.]

[His grin widen a bit more. He wanted to test this and he was prepared to face a reaper for his experiment.]
...So, you're a virgin then.
[He was using his words as a momentary distraction.]
no subject
That's the term for it.
no subject
For pretty much your whole life, yes? [Don't mind him suddenly beside you, Kloe.] Despite having the qualities for a femme fatale.
no subject
That's certainly something I haven't been called before.
[Aaand she took a quick step away from him.]
