❧ 011 ❧ Video / Open Comment Log; Backdated to start of event
[As the recording starts, the lower half of the footage is covered with dark hair and the rest is a hallway of the barracks. There's some grumbling and a loud stomach growl as San moves slightly to look at the journal. He doesn't look like his usual awake self, but instead drowsy and constantly fighting his closing eyelids. Even his voice has taken a blow, becoming quiet and slightly muffled by the pages.]
I require some... assistance again.
[There's a moment of silence and lack of movement. It was becoming harder for him to think clearly and the words he was searching for eluded him. He just wanted to sleep.]
On the second floor... I think...
[He trailed off and his voice was replaced with soft breathing. Being turned human sucked.]

[commentlog]
... What do you need me to do?
[Jetfire kneels by him, and at least, if he needs carried anywhere, she can still do that, considering her size and strength, even if both have been greatly reduced.]
Re: [commentlog]
But no one has said anything.
Augh. Okay fine. She'll look for him for ten minutes and if she can't find him she's retreating back to her room.
So she sets out, grumbling the entire way, until she gets a couple floors down and see's a white haired lady and Sandrath on the floor. WELP.]
Do you need help with him? Because otherwise I'm out of here.
[Kloe is covered with feathers and has bird feet seriously screw this.]
[commentlog]
Food and somewhere a bit comfortable.
[He barely had energy for a snappy comment towards Kloe's current state. He would conserve as much as he could.]
[commentlog]
[Jetfire pauses as she looks from Kloe to Sandrath and then slightly awkwardly scoops him up.]
Because I don't think I could pick up anything that might be safe or edible, considering I don't normally need organic sustenance.
[Kloe's new look gets a closer once-over since she's seeing it in person, and all the things mentioned or seen over the journals have been very... interesting.]
Re: [commentlog]
Yeah, yeah, sure.
[She has wings, too! On her arms.]
His room is 4162. I'll meet you there.
[commentlog]
[commentlog]
... Kloe, before you go; is there any reason he'd... ah, behave like this?
[Pausing just a step or so down the corridor, half turned around - and yes, those wings are very pretty, but don't look practical or in the right place, or large enough, to carry her - because it might be a good idea to get some information if this is normal or not.]
Re: [commentlog]
I haven't a clue. He isn't supposed to be able to sleep or eat. So my guess is that he's less magically immortal now.
[commentlog]
[All the dislike. Why must so much not have a perfectly scientific explanation? It was just a lot easier that way, since confirming supernatural causes considering the need of repeatable phenomena was a lot harder.]
He wasn't human before? Since he doesn't look any different, but that seems to be the only thing he could be at the moment... Ah.
[Jetfire was all set to... well, not exactly put Sandrath down and get a closer look, but continue theorizing, before she remembers there's a reason she's standing here with the man in her arms.]
I hope humans do not take ill-effect of sleeping long, or if it'll be reasonably easy to wake him up if we need to.
[Jetfire pauses as she turns around, giving Kloe's wings another look.]
I wouldn't recommend trying to fly with those, unless certain natural laws doesn't apply to you in that form either; your wings aren't attached where they'd need to be, or large enough, to carry you.
Re: [commentlog]
Yeah, I wasn't planning on actually trying. I'd rather not break my neck.
[She glances down at her wings and then turns to grab San, and, well, the three of them at least, some food.]
Don't feel bad if you drop him, by the way.
[commentlog]
Probably just as well, even if I would recomment the experience of flying.
[Jetfire's turned around as well again by the time that comment comes, and she pauses, looks down and then over her shoulder.]
... If you say so. I'll endeavour not to do it either way; we don't need more injuries around here.
[Of course, Jetfire was a bit uncertain how the stairs would go, now that she didn't just have to attempt to walk up them, but was carrying someone too, both of her arms occupied.
Mostly, however, the stair-scaling goes rather well, except for once or twice of jostling into the wall as she misjudges a step; which is frustrating, since the steps are all at the same distance from each other. Human bodies aren't as exact as she's used to.]
[commentlog]
[commentlog]
With a stumble right at the top of the stairs to the fourth floor, which nearly sends them spilling to the floor, they're finally up. But the door, being closed, is proving a bit more of an obstacle, so Jetfire simply waits for Kloe... while starting to experience the very human sensation of having your muscles begin to tire.
It's actually rather intersting, and Jetfire doesn't even realize at first this is what's happening, rather concentrated on the physical reactions and not what they mean.]
Re: [commentlog]
And some alcohol for herself.]
Trouble?
[commentlog]
May be. I can't really check if the door is locked or not like this, and I'm uncertain I could pick him up again if I put his down... Mm, maybe you know what the reason is for the burning in the muscles and my arms shaking? I'm uncertain what could be causing it, since I feel fine otherwise.
[Jetfire shifts a bit, hiking Sandrath up further in her grip... but the slight tremor might be obvious enough, if one looks.]
Re: [commentlog]
So she looks him over quickly for a pocket. So she'll just talk about sciency stuff while she does that.]
The strain on your muscles in your arms is causing a buildup of lactic acid. You're not used to carrying that much weight.
[Hey look a key. She quickly open the door for poor Jetfire.]
[commentlog]
Except human memory doesn't work that way, and she better remember this when she turns back so she can put it where she wants... or just find it again, really.]
Hmm, no, I've noticed that while base strength is probably greater than an untrained human of my height, weight, and... ah, sex factors in as well, doesn't it? I would hazard that my muscles lack the training to actually make use of that... Probably couldn't be translated correctly in the change.
Thank you.
[So said, she walks inside and... yes, it's really nice to be able to put Sandrath down on his bed.]
Re: [commentlog]
She glances down at San's body.]
You want to just ditch him and stay in my room instead?
[commentlog]
I, however--- [Whatever Jetfire had planned to say was interrupted by her stomach deciding to speak up.]
... Am apparently... [frown] hungry, I suppose.
[She'd need to remember to pick something up for Starscream later (if she could find out what was edible), unless the Seeker had actually gotten over his dramatics and were paying attention to what his changed body was telling him...]
[commentlog]
Thanks.
[The single word was rather quiet.]
[commentlog]
She kind of hopes Jetfire doesn't need to be taught how to feed herself. That would kind of suck.
And then Kloe leans back against a wall, taking a drink from her bottle of booze.]
Yeah, you better be thankful.
[commentlog]
Thank you... [A glance over at Sandrath; they all seemed to have changed overnight, and yet he'd been in the middle of a corridor on the second floor...]
You didn't notice something was off when you came out of re--- when you woke up?
[Eating this food, however, is strange.]
[commentlog]
I noticed something was off... just before that happened.
[Excuse him for a moment as he yawns.]
[commentlog]
[Sandrath, you now have her attention. Which means she's immediately forgotten about the food she was eating.]
How did it happen? Instantaneous, or gradual? Could you feel the change... or the effect of it, or did the resuls of it simply immediately appear as the change had been completed?
[This is interesting, okay!]
[commentlog]
[He tried to make it loud as he could, despite his gravely voice at the moment.]
Instant... I think? [Pause.] Felt it rather quickly.
Re: [commentlog]
Here.
[commentlog] >_> Sorry for late reply...
Ah, thank you. [A pause, and contrary to the food, the water is consumed without hesitation; something liquid is a lot closer to energon, after all.]
Were you aware or sleeping as well, Kloe?
[She would assume that being asleep, in recharge or otherwise not aware ought to be the norm in a situation like this.]
[commentlog] s'ok
