IC Information:
Name: Pre: Sandrath | Reincarnation: Alexander 'Xander' Jarle
Canon: Original character
Age: Pre: 500 | Current: 29 (07/23/1984)
Preincarnation Species: Fallen 'arch-angel'
Preincarnation Appearance:
With his current vessel, a human male; Sandrath stands at 6'3" and average in build, but is slightly toned in muscle. He considers himself rather handsome, with lightly tanned skin that contains no sign of ever being marked. He is clean shaven, has a head full of medium but still short black hair, and brown eyes that change to a lighter color at times or switch completely black on whim. He moves with a confident air about himself with the odd hint of cockiness and gracefulness. His attire mainly composes of dark clothing, elegant but simple; especially when he's caught up in a fight. He's not one for layers, but if the weather is frightful, he will wear a coat or jacket along with a scarf just to appear human. He's portrayed by Ian Somerhalder.

If someone manages to strip away skin, muscle and bone or remove a limb from Sandrath's 'meat-suit', his true self will be visible and fill in the missing pieces until he tends to his container. This form is featureless and mostly black, but flickers of white appear every now and then.

Any differences:
For the most part, Xander is pretty similar to his pre-incarnation's vessel in appearance, with a few exceptions. Xander has blue eyes instead of brown and a scars all over his body. Due to his military training, he usually keeps his posture straight and appears to be constantly on guard. His attire is more casual than his counter-part and he has to rely on layers to keep warm.

Preincarnated History:
World History
In a modern day society, heaven and hell go by several names but, to supernatural beings, they call it above and below. These creatures who roam both planes and the surface in between did not have a name for their species but, for the mortals they interacted with decided to call them 'demons' and 'angels'. Each side had a sub-category, for those who shared similar powers in to one group. The more powerful of the 'angels' became known as 'arch-angels' and the same could be said about the 'demons' with 'arch-demons', who are able to create or destroy depending on the power bestowed to them. They were more involved in fighting wars, mostly against the 'demons' that hid among the humans; during their downtime trained other 'angels' or recruited fallen humans to their side. Those who had been recruited could become an 'arch-angel' or choose to be returned to Earth as an earth-bound 'angel'. Earth-bound 'angels' are more attuned to the surface they stand on, being able to sense emotions of others and use their environment around them for defensive or offensive purposes. But, it is rumored that they can transform if driven to insanity. It is rather frequent that the fore-mentioned 'angels' take on the role as guardian to humans, especially if they happen to be their vessels or those who take up the profession as hunters. Over the years, the great wars that happened between both sides, have reduced down to day to day skirmishes.

Vessels allow 'angels' to take on a physical form to deal with the 'demons' who also have physical bodies. It is very rare for an 'angel' to have a vessel without another soul with them or share with another 'angel'. When selecting a vessel, they observe and judge the person based on their actions before the 'angel' informs them of their potential, as well as the risks involved. They have taken several precautions over the years to ensure that their vessel does not end up committed to a mental hospital after their first interaction. It's not uncommon for the vessel to be reused by other 'angels'.

Hunters are human beings, who choose to confront supernatural beings without assistance from 'angels'. They tend to be stubborn and this trait has a tendency to lead them to an early death. There are only a select few of hunters who actually ally themselves with an earth-bound 'angel'. It is rare for a hunter to have a 'sixth sense', allowing him or her to pick up either 'angel' or 'demon' without a vessel.

Character History
The first half of Sandrath's life was devoted to studying everything that the Earth could offer, under the watchful and strict eye of his mentor, Enos. Once his studies had concluded, Sandrath was assigned to his first war as an 'arch-angel' with his first vessel, Conleth Jarle. One of their first missions involved a hostage situation with several people. They were able to resolve it with none of the civilians dying and their captors dead. One of the hostages, a female nurse by the name of Cathrin Atalia, was grateful to her saviors and took an interest in Sandrath's origins. He remained tight-lipped about his kind and above, not wanting to put her at risk, but his vessel pointed out that she had already been in danger before meeting him. Begrudgingly, Sandrath slowly opened up to Cathrin when either of them had some free time to spare. Their interactions with each other blossomed into love.

After several weeks the war remained in their favor until one miscalculation in a plan resulted in the capture of Sandrath and Conleth by the enemy. For days, Sandrath endured interrogation and various forms of torture, and began to weaken once his torturers introduced a substance known as 'demon blood'. This liquid rendered any 'angel' in a helpless state with dark veins running along their vessel's body. Consuming too much at a time could kill an 'angel' or bring them to the brink of insanity.

Sandrath tried his best to keep Conleth from taking control of his body, not wanting to see his vessel suffer from the effects of torture, but he was too weak to stop him. He was forced to listen to the anguished screams as their torturers started again. Just when things had reached their lowest they were rescued by another group and were left in the care of Cathrin at a safe-house. It took two weeks for Sandrath to recover, but Conleth was broken by the experience.

A few months later, the war had reached its end. The 'angels' had won and were returning to above. Sandrath had to say goodbye to Cathrin, who protested at his departure and insisted that he stay with her. He had to decline her offer because he was still needed in above. He requested that she was to look after Conleth for him and promised that he would be back someday.

When Sandrath returned to above after his second war, he was informed that both Conleth and Cathrin had committed suicide. He slipped in to depression and was racked with guilt for being unable to stop either of them. His mentor, Enos, instructed that Sandrath was not allowed to part-take in any other missions until he was no longer emotionally compromised. A few years passed before Enos checked up on Sandrath, learning that he hadn't shaken from his state. Out of pity, Enos erased Sandrath's guilt and the memories of Cathrin, as well as Conleth's death. Sandrath quickly recovered from the process and his confusion about his missing years was resolved after some brief words from his mentor. He returned to war for the next forty-seven years.

As the wars started to dwindle in to skirmishes, Sandrath found himself with plenty of time on his hands. He took on a pupil of his own, by the name of Loheh, who was bestowed with the ability of sacrifice. Several 'angels' were wary of Sandrath teaching due to him being exposed to 'demon blood' several times through his war career. Taking note of his comrades' concern, Sandrath asked Enos to assist him with teaching and when certain days proved difficult, his mentor would instruct Loheh's studies. A hundred and eighty years later, Loheh finished his studies and had descended to Earth with his first vessel, Finnagin Raol.

After his pupil departed, Sandrath was at a loss of what to do. He barely received any missions and no one else wanted to have him as a mentor. He began to reflect and took notice that something was missing in his life. He spoke with his mentor and stated that he wanted to leave to search, but Enos informed him that it was impossible. There weren't any vessels to be spared for a visit to the surface. For the next several years, Sandrath observed from above, trying to find an empty vessel.

When Sandrath reached the age of four hundred and ninety-three, he found one. Taking residence inside, he noticed that the owner of the body had been sealed away and buried underground. Emerging from what appeared to be a grave, he started his search.

Along the way, he encountered several 'demons', some with abilities he had never seen before. When he tried to mimic their skill for his own repertoire, nothing happened. His confusion left an opening for the enemy to attack. After several blows, something within Sandrath snapped. He retaliated and defeated his opponent, leaving it in a bloody mess. His curiosity got the better of him as he wiped the blood that had sprayed across his face and licked his fingers. This was Sandrath's first time consuming 'demon blood' willingly, despite his body wanting to purge the liquid. It became apparent to him that his power had mutated due to the amount of 'demon blood' he was tortured with in the past. He forced the substance down and suffered constantly as his body attempted to adjust to it.

Slowly losing sight of what he was originally doing on the surface, Sandrath continued to seek out more 'demons' to gain more abilities. His actions began to attract the attention of hunters. He no longer cared that he was now killing his kin's reluctant allies. They proved to be meager threats until a hunter by the name of Lyn Sezon, and his companion Janos Laim, who happened to be an earth-bound 'angel', showed up. They put up a valiant fight, but in the end Sandrath defeated them both. Just as he was going to put them out of their misery, a new 'angel' arrived on the scene. His name was Artimus; he assigned other 'angels' to their vessels, but had never set foot on a battlefield. He politely asked Sandrath to leave his vessel, as it was not his to use. Sandrath refused to depart, leaving Artimus with no other choice but to enter the same body as Sandrath. He intended to force him out but no such thing happened. Instead, through a bizarre reaction, the seal on the body's original owner disappeared and became aware of the two 'angels' inside of him.

Not long after introductions were made and injuries taken care of, Sandrath learnt that his vessel once belonged to his pupil, Loheh. He was well aware that his student had used his power to support another at the cost of his own. He had taught Loheh to ensure that the owner of the body would not suffer before he perished, based on his own experience with Conleth. Lyn and Janos happened to be present during Loheh's last moments and disposed of the 'demon' that killed him. They explained how they tried to resurrect Finnagin but were unsuccessful and left with only the option of burial. After the conversation, Artimus decided to stay to keep an eye on Sandrath and his actions. He apologized to Finnagin for making him compensate for two 'angels' instead of one. Just as Lyn and Janos decide to depart, Finnagin requests to visit his hometown.

Several hours later, the group arrived in Helena, Montana. While there they rescued Finnagin's sister, Aimee, from a group of 'demons'. After disposing of them, Finnagin requested that Sandrath place sigils on his sister and himself. He did as he was told, but replaced Finnagin's warding sigil with a different one that would only work when he was not present.

A few weeks later, and after a job involving a rusalka, Sandrath convinced his vessel to tag along with Lyn and Janos. As they traveled down an unknown, rural road, Janos, Artimus and Sandrath all sensed a large amount of 'demons' and other supernatural beings in one area. Taking a moment to investigate, they discovered a gateway that led to below, but there were no signs of what the trio of 'angels' had picked up earlier.

While standing in front of the gateway, Sandrath figured he could find some answers beyond its gates, but getting them to open would proved difficult. It didn't take long for him to come to a decision: betray those around him. Sandrath took control of his vessel and attacked Janos. Artimus tried to stop him, but it was a futile attempt as the gates started to open and a gatekeeper emerged from its depths. Sandrath paid the toll by offering Finnagin's life and departed his vessel to go inside, causing Finnagin to suffer from the sigil he placed. It was slowly killing him, like poison.

After navigating through below with some resistance, he meets Lucifer. He struck a deal to be under his command and became a fallen 'arch-angel'. As Artimus arrived, he tried to bargain back Finnagin's life but Sandrath interjected wherever he could, trying to make it harder for the 'angel' to finalize the conditions. In the end, Artimus gave up his status as an 'angel' and became mortal. This was an opportune moment for Sandrath to dish out some long awaited punishment for getting in his way. Before the deal was made final, Sandrath managed to obtain Artimus' healing ability. He then experiments with his new healing power with torturing Artimus, proving that he would keep up his half of the deal. Eventually, Sandrath was ordered to deliver Artimus to the surface and deal with some errands.

Currently, Sandrath spends majority of his time on the surface in a new vessel, enjoying himself, but there are times where he has to deal with 'demons'; either assisting or disposing of them along with any hunters or 'angels'. He rescued a grim reaper from a puppeteer, in which he had several flings with him. Was sought after by a hybrid 'arch-angel' who wanted his blood, like an addict, and a memory demon who wanted to invade his thoughts. It kept him busy for a while until one day his former mentor, Enos, showed up.

Their reunion was a bitter-sweet one. What started off as a friendly hug, turned in to a heated argument with a single gesture: a kiss upon his forehead. Enos had volunteered himself to deal with Sandrath, which either meant fixing him or disposing of him. Sandrath stated that he was too far gone to be 'fixed' and if Enos was to kill him, he would have to do it now or deal with fighting him at a later date. But they were at a stalemate, with neither of them wanting to resort to violence.

With no action taken, Sandrath was the first to leave, feeling hurt and betrayed by the last person he trusted.

Reincarnated History:
Alexander and his younger twin brother, Conleth was born on July 23rd, 1984 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. From a very young age, Alexander preferred to be called Xander instead of Alex. This was mainly sparked due to his family having more interesting names than him. His mother, Ena, was a baker and his father, Enos, was part of the military. Because of his father's job, every few years they moved to a new part of the country, which made making friends rather difficult. Despite not having his father present very often, he spent as much time as he could during Enos' time off, learning new things from him.

During his school years, Xander's grades were a little bit above average. He was a sociable kid and pretty much inseparable from his twin brother. Once he finished high school, he signed himself up to join the military.

His deployment went smoothly as it could and he was nearly close to completing his contract when Conleth was killed in action. He was overwhelmed with guilt about being unable to protect his twin brother and honorably discharged from service. After being assessed by a psychiatrist, Xander was prescribed anti-depressants for his depression and sleeping pills to allow him to rest without worry. He would also talk to a therapist, Joseph Galahand, who recommended that he record his days through a voice recorder.

When Xander was 24, his family moved to Portland, Oregon. A few months later, Xander decided that he wanted to try and live on his own. He moved in with another man, which started off as room-mates before eventually dating. Sadly, that relationship didn't last very long. Several months later, both he and his boyfriend realized that it was a disaster waiting to happen and parted on neutral ground. He tried pursing other relationships some time later, but the end result was always the same.

After celebrating his 29th birthday, Xander decided that he would move to Locke city.

First Echo:
A mental echo. Xander hears a line from his father via phone conversation: "You did all you could for Conleth", which triggers a memory of a room of Enos standing before him saying the same thing, but with Sandrath's name instead of Xander's. The strange thing is that Enos is not in a uniform he recognizes and Xander is overwhelmed by feelings of disappointment.

Preincarnation Personality:
Sandrath is a complicated being, having once been 'good' for the majority of his life until he was exposed to 'demon blood'. This liquid changed him slightly at first, but when he consumed more, it influenced darker thoughts and emotions. It's hard to say if he keeps a check on these evolved thoughts and feelings or let's them run rampant intentionally. When Sandrath takes the form of another, he will act accordingly to avoid detection, until he eventually becomes bored with playing the role and starts messing around.

He doesn't feel any guilt due to his mentor eradicating it after the event involving Cathrin and Conleth, so he has no qualms about fighting or torturing other 'angels', 'demons' or anything else that gets in his way. He's not the kind of person to be easily intimidated by others. Of course, saying that, he tends to be ready for a fight due to being persistent about certain topics, which can cause brawls with other men or women. During those times he can be rather reckless, which just heightens his sadomasochistic tendencies. There has been the odd case when he has let some go, by either proving themselves to be a good fighter or perking an interest from the fallen arch-angel. If interest is the case, it would be the best to stay away because he'll be rather 'affectionate' with his words and actions, sometimes involving a possessive streak.

When not picking fights, Sandrath is very sociable and does enjoy being in the company of others. He may appear friendly and offer assistance to strangers with some form of a smile on his face, but in the end, he's only doing it to benefit himself. He can be quite a liar about things, to the point where he contradicts himself or becomes labeled as a hypocrite. But, there are moments where he'll bluntly state the truth. It is possible for remnants of his old 'angelic' self to resurface from time to time, refusing to be smothered. This in turn causes some internal conflict for Sandrath. It's something he hates dealing with and if someone mentions the switch, there's a good chance that he may become hostile and nasty. He also hates it when people see him when he's vulnerable or try to get in to his head by telepathic means. This tends to happen when his body is 'filtering' and his main priority is to get somewhere safe, rejecting any kind of companionship or assistance.

Regarding love and commitment, Sandrath tends to fall under the lustful and disloyal category. He tends to over-step boundaries and invades personal space with strangers or acquaintances and doesn't care if his actions lead him to getting attacked. He is rather promiscuous and rarely stays with the same partner for more than a week, unless there is something that he finds interesting about them. He has no issues sleeping with any species or gender. That being said, he doesn't like staying in one place for a long time due to his reputation of gaining more enemies than friends, but he can adapt well to his surroundings.

Any differences:
Xander is a lot better than his preincarnation in several ways. He's friendly and loyal without any hidden motives. He is quite diligent with his work and not reckless with his words or actions. He is also a bit more trusting with those he knows, even if he's a little reluctant to share things after the death of his brother. He's quite respectful of someone's personal space (unless they're flirting with him) and knows when to stop pursing a topic or course of action, unlike his counter-part.

After Conleth's death, Xander suffered heavily from guilt and depression. Even though he worked past his guilt, there are just some days that his depression overwhelms him. He's a little more distant to people, but that doesn't mean he won't try to strike up a conversation. Sometimes, he becomes restless while talking and has to do something with his hands.

Lastly, Xander doesn't suffer from morbid thoughts or reckless ideas. He's also a masochist instead of sadomasochist, but still has a bit of a commitment issue with pursuing a romantic relationship.

Abilities:
Sandrath is considered immortal in some ways. He does not age or require food or sleep to function, but that doesn't stop him from enjoying a meal from time to time. He has a natural resistance to what would be considered 'light' or 'holy', but it will cause some slight discomfort and some pain. He isn't affected by temperature and is immune to most diseases. Although, if something does manage to get through, his body goes through a 'filtering' phase which renders Sandrath helpless in both abilities and coordination. During that phase, dark veins cover his body and his eyes are forced to their black state.

Since Sandrath is in a body of his own, he will not be able to take possession of another or be able to communicate via telepathy. But, he's aware if someone tries to prod around in his head. When a person is within twenty feet of Sandrath, he can sense their presence and judge whether they're an 'angel', a 'demon', a human, an animal or something else entirely. However, in order to do this, his eyes must switch to their black, 'demonic' state.

He has the ability to learn supernatural skills through a visual demonstration, but once he started to indulge in 'demon blood' it mutated. He can only obtain new abilities by drinking the blood of others, but he can only obtain one at a time and it has to be a natural skill. After consuming the blood, his body goes through its 'filtering' phase which leaves him quite vulnerable.

He knows how to create and use sigils, either carved out of flesh, made of blood or composed of magic, but without any power he can not activate them. This can range from creating barriers to summoning to preventing other entities from entering a body to slowly killing a person when he's not present. He doesn't use this ability very much, aside from summoning barriers to protect himself.

He has the ability of shadow mimicry, which allows him to meld with his own shadow or one around him to teleport to other places. Since this is his main method of transportation, he uses it quite a lot and he has the tendency to hide in someone else's shadow just to mess with them.

He does have some supernatural strength that allows him to carry a full grown man with ease and have some power behind his punches and kicks. He is also able to create weapons to use at his disposal, but prefers it to be of the melee variety. He's mostly seen using throwing knives, a glove with long nails that can merge together and become a lance / pole-arm or reverse if need be.

He can conjure a flame by snapping his fingers, although it might take him a few attempts to get the fire started. He'll use it to light various objects ablaze or even cauterizing a wound on someone else if needed.

His healing ability can repair most damage on a person fairly quickly, leaving no trace of injury ever being there; but there is a tingling and burning sensation when he uses it. This ability won't put a strain on Sandrath unless he's forced to use it several times in rapid succession, which slows the process down and targets more minor wounds opposed to major.

He has the ability to shape-shift in to three other forms. When he takes on the appearance of his previous vessel, Finnagin; he stands at 5'10" with a head full of semi-long dark brown hair, some stubble, is average in build and has brown eyes. As for his female form, she stands at 5'6" with wavy brown hair that reaches down to her shoulders, a curvy figure and blue eyes. Lastly, his feline form is an ordinary sized male household cat with black fur and yellow eyes. When reverting back to normal after being a cat will leave him with ears and tail of said feline before eventually disappearing after a bit of time passes.

Roleplay Sample - Third Person:
The night had been a glorious one and Sandrath had been indulging himself in various delights. Although the evening would have been complete if he could have got his hands on Artimus once more, to torment and mess with. Upon exiting a local pub and deciding to take a stroll down a back alley, it didn't take long for him to come across a scene of someone being mugged. If something wasn't done, it could evolve in to something terrifying for the victim; not like Sandrath cared what would happen.

There was a shriek for help from the woman and the two thugs stared at him, armed with knives. One of the thugs snarled a threat about killing the woman in his grasp and the other attempted to insult him. How pathetic, they were just asking to be killed.

"Now, now, that's not exactly how to get on her good side. I should know," he informed, making a small hand gesture to himself as the color in his eyes was consumed by darkness. "So, which one of you wants to go see Lucifer first?"

As Sandrath took a step closer, he could tell that the victim and the thug who wasn't holding the girl were human and the other was a demon. An amused but devious grin took to his lips as his favourite weapon started to take form on his hand, a glove with long nails that scrapped the cement as he walked. It didn't take long for the human low-life to charge at him, his foolishness earned him a quick and bloody death. Prying his claws from the body they were currently embedded in, he casually let the corpse fall and stepped over it like it was nothing before moving closer to the remaining criminal, wiping blood from his face with his good hand. By now, the demon in disguise realized what he was dealing with and released the hostage before turning to flee.

"Running already? But we hardly got started!" Sandrath called after him, sounding hurt but if anything was further enthralled by the chase.

Moving to pass the woman who had fallen after being released, the arch-angel paused to reach down and pull her to her feet with his free hand. He tilted his head to look her over, gauging a thought before pulling her close and locking lips. It took her a moment to notice what was going on and promptly slapped her 'savior'. Sandrath chuckled slightly as she fled from him, rubbing his cheek and licking his lips, a devious grin still on his face. He knew that she was probably thinking he was no better than those two thugs who could have killed her. That aside, he returned his attention to the alley and headed towards where the second criminal had ran off to.

The second thug found himself in a dead-end. Hearing the sound of Sandrath's footsteps approaching caused him to turn around, snarling and sneering at Sandrath as it revealed its true form. Sandrath let out a low whistle, impressed by the appearance, but he could sense that the demon wasn't terribly powerful.

"What do those humans say?" He asked randomly, not expecting a reply as his weapon switched to throwing knives. "To not judge a book by its cover but the contents inside? So, let's see what's in there."

Not even ten minutes later, the demon was defeated and Sandrath was standing victorious over the corpse. Temptation nagged at his brain to have a drink of the liquid that was draining from the open wounds, but he was ripped away when noticed that another was heading towards him. He knew that strange mix of angel and demon.

"I saved you the trouble and killed your supper for you." Sandrath chuckled, kicking the body a little with his foot. "That is if I'm wrong about you no longer needing your fix of blood."

There was no response from the man as he approached, eyes wild from withdrawal as he glanced to the body on the ground before Sandrath. The fallen arch-angel already knew that this hybrid was more interested in him than the dead demon.

"You still haven't found your voice, have you?" He asked, taunting slightly as his weapon switched back to the glove with the claw and took a few steps back, watching his new opponent intently. "This one-way relationship isn't going to get us anywhere. I need my answers and you can't seem to provide them."

Of course, talking to this mute man was pointless as he caught a shimmer of a blade being drawn from the hybrid, inching closer than before. The first strike was made from the enemy and it was caught by the claws. But, that didn't stop the other from using his strength to push and pin Sandrath against the wall, forcing his arm in to an uncomfortable arm lock. The pain was a welcome sensation as it traveled up his spine, causing him to utter a small noise of appreciation before grinning up at the taller man's face.

"You know..." He started, taking a moment to glance the other over before darting those dark eyes back up. "I could really help with all that tension that's in your body."

He moved one of his legs to make a suggestive gesture but was stopped quickly by being kneed in the stomach and a blade pressed to his throat, its tip inching closer to the jugular. But Sandrath wasn't going to allow this hybrid to get a drop of his blood and temporarily seal his abilities away. He started to sink in to the shadow against the wall, escaping the grasp of his opponent. The reaction from the addict was amusing, a mix of fury and anguish at the same time. As he slipped away and up on to the roof of a near-by building, he brought a hand to his neck, checking if that knife managed to break any skin.

He was safe for now, until he encountered the other being again at a later date.

Roleplay Sample - Network: [Made by a digital voice recorder]
It's August 9th, 2013. Roughly, 8:30 PM.

I didn't have much difficulty with taking my medication this morning, which is a bit of a pleasant surprise. I guess this move has some benefits so far, aside from being a complete and utter stranger to the city. That being said, I'm still getting used to the layout and locations of stores. I guess I'm in luck when there's a few local shops near by that can cover some of my needs, because getting lost just after settling in to your new apartment isn't right.

...I've spent most of the day moving everything out of the U-Haul truck and organizing the furniture in to less of a mess. Connor has been cooped up in the bathroom with his things. He kept wanting to come out, but, I wasn't about to risk have him running out the door when I was bringing in my things. [There's a bit of a sigh.] I still have plenty of boxes to unpack, but that can wait until later. I'll have to return the truck sometime soon too.

I think around five or six, I got a call from my parents. They were calling in to check on my progress and how I was doing. So, I told them how I was doing, just like I'm telling you. But... Something 'strange' happened when I was speaking to my father. I saw some sort of... day dream or memory? It felt familiar, but not at the same time. I don't know why, but I didn't feel all right after that. I had to tell him I had to go and I'd call him back tomorrow. Which, I still plan on doing, but... There's this number that I can't seem to get out of my head.

[He states the set of numbers, unaware that he had connected to a network.]

I don't know how these two things are connected. There's a possibility that it could be a date or perhaps some sort of code. There was this word... 'sand raft'. I have no idea what it could mean, aside from guessing that it's an anagram for something. If only I took my code breaking skills more seriously. [He laughs, joking about his previous statement.] As much as I'd like to take my time and figure it out, I have several more pressing matters to attend to. Like finding a job.

[He's silent for a moment, but the sound of bare feet walking across the floor is picked up. Then there's a faint sound of a cat purring.]

I think Con-- [There's a pause in his words, as if he was catching himself from saying his twin's name. A sad chuckle escapes him as he exhales a breath at the same time. Not too far away, a cat's meow is heard, only to be followed by louder purring.] ...Connor seems to be adjusting well to his new surroundings. Let's just hope I'm able to do the same thing.

[There's another small chuckle from him before he's moving the recording device to turn it off. That is until he notices that something is wrong.]

I find it highly unlikely that this device has the ability to display what I'm seeing right now. I have to go with my gut feeling on this and believe that what I just said is something that none of you should have heard.

Any Questions? I have none that I can think of.
